Linda Nguyen Woo, MD
A native of southern California, Dr. Linda Woo completed her undergraduate degree in biology at the University of California Los Angeles. She continued her studies at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine where she earned an M.D. degree and masters in clinical research. She completed residency training in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at UC San Diego Medical Center. Dr. Woo worked for two years as a researcher and has several publications on surgery with molecular imaging guidance and in vivo nerve imaging.
Prior to joining Head and Neck Surgery Specialists, Dr. Woo was as an assistant professor at UC San Diego Medical Center. She is passionate about providing comprehensive otolaryngology care with special interests in sinus surgery, nasal obstruction, endocrine and salivary gland surgery. Dr. Woo speaks Vietnamese.
In her free time, Dr. Woo and her husband are usually chasing after their toddler son, cooking, sampling new foods, and exploring our beautiful city of San Diego. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Interval House Crisis Shelters for Victims of Domestic Violence in Long Beach, California.
